The season runs September 2025 - May 2026. Rehearsals are 1:30-3:30 M-F and weekend afternoons leading up to performances. Company Artist positions are part-time hourly positions and include paid rehearsals (hourly wage based on experience, typically $19-22 an hour, 8-12 hours per week depending on the time of year) and paid performances (all inclusive performance fee based on number of shows, averaging around $120 per show), details available upon request. Studio Company positions are tuition-free, with limited stipends for exceptional candidates. Studio Company Apprentice positions are tuition-based and include a full schedule of training with New Ballet School’s highest level.
IMPORTANT: Due to overwhelming response, New Ballet is not able to process any further audition materials or schedule any auditions for Company Artist positions for the 2025/2026 Season. Male-identifying dancers with strong classical partnering may still submit audition materials and we will prioritize getting back to you as soon as possible to let you know if any spots are open.
To be considered, please submit your resume/CV and video links to both classical and contemporary work. Ladies should be en pointe for at least part of their audition links, partnering footage for male candidates is highly suggested. An invitation to an in-studio or zoom audition may be possible in lieu of a video submission for qualified candidates (please submit a CV or detail training and previous professional experience to be considered for this). Please note, New Ballet does not sponsor applicants for work visas.
