Wellness at New Ballet

Nurturing the next generation

New Ballet School views each student as a developing individual first. It is the role of our instructors to foster the healthy development of each of our students, supporting each one as they grow within the art and in their lives. Our School Principal Dr. Elizabeth Hutter is a leader in the field of Performance Psychology, having recently been elected President of the American Psychological Association in that field. We are proud to provide local families access to the tools that an internationally renowned leader in the field of dancer wellness can provide in supporting student emotional, physical and mental wellness.

Dr. Hutter leads our team in supporting our students as developing artists as they pursue excellence in the art of ballet and train with experts in a body-positive environment. At New Ballet, we embrace diversity, and are inclusive of age, race, gender, orientation and body type. We offer an unwavering commitment to team values. Our support is there for all students, and we provide ballet career and college application guidance led by our Wellness Director and School Principal Dr. Elizabeth Hutter at no additional charge to families.

Our training supports students as individuals as they set and reach goals, develop discipline, understand grit, focus on process, and thrive in a creative environment. Dr. Hutter is available to meet with families and students to help students be empowered by conquering challenges, build strong team relationships and achieve balance in their dance and academic lives.
