Primary Boys II, Primary C Boys
Level 1, 2 and 3 Boys
Primary Boys II and Levels 1, 2 and 3 boys are eligible for the roles of Party Boys and Fritz understudies. Primary Boys II and Primary C Boys are encouraged to register as Party Boys, but may opt to be Frogs instead. If you choose to be a Frog instead, please register through the Primary Division link given in the invitation email or email school@newballet.com to be sent the Frog information, which is similar to last year and requires less commitment than the role of Party Boy. Please note: all schedules are subject to change. Families will be notified of these changes via email.
In-Studio Rehearsal Schedule
Party Boys and Fritz Understudies (ACT 1):
Saturdays: 3:00-4:15; October 5th - December 7th (no rehearsal November 30)
Sundays: 1:00-2:15; November 10th, November 17th, November 24th, December 8th
Theatre Rehearsal Schedule - Mandatory Availability
Party Boys and Fritz understudies are called to the theatre for rehearsals at the times listed below. We plan to have multiple casts, so students likely may not be called to every rehearsal listed below, but students MUST BE AVAILABLE for all the rehearsals listed below. Theater rehearsal dates for each student will be released by November 1st. More details will be sent closer to theater week.
Party Children (Act 1):
Tech rehearsal: Wednesday, December 11th, 5:00-7:00pm
Tech rehearsal: Thursday, December 12th, 5:15-7:15pm
Dress rehearsal: Friday, December 13th, 5:30-8:00pm
Performance Schedule: MANDATORY AVAILABILITY
We plan to have multiple casts, however students may be called to perform in every performance listed below. Students MUST BE AVAILABLE for all the performances listed below. Performance dates for each student will be released by November 1st. Please note that the times listed below are performer estimated drop off and pick up times, not the actual show times. A Theatre Packet with more details will be sent closer to theatre week. The student pick up time for Party Boys and Fritz is at intermission. You must pick your child up outside at the stage door at intermission. If you wish for your student to join you in the audience for act 2 they must have their own ticket.

NOTE: 3:00 PM and 8:00PM pick up times are at intermission. If you have tickets to one of these shows and would like your student performer to join you in the audience for the second half, they must also have a ticket. You may exit via the Market St. door to pick up your student and escort them back through that same door to have your tickets scanned and return to your seats.

Pay The Participation Fee By September 13
Once you have registered there is a link in the form to pay the participation fee. You also may pay your Participation Fee here if you accidentally exit out of the window. The Participation Fee for students performing as Party Boys is $225 (this is waived for Continuing Scholarship Students or students on Financial Aid who are notified that it is waived). The Participation Fee partially covers the cost of rehearsal staff, backstage theater staff, and costume creation/maintenance. Performance tickets must be purchased through the Box Office.
