2026 Nutcracker Registration
Lady Dragonfly
Adult Drop-In Students who attend Beginning/Intermediate or Intermediate/Advanced Teen/Adult Drop-In Class as well as students who attend Teen Flex classes are eligible to perform the role of Lady Dragonfly. Lady Dragonflies appear at the top of the second act and re appear at the very end of the ballet, and do not appear in the 11:00am performances. The role will include basic stage movement and ballet mime. Please note: all schedules are subject to change. You will be notified of these changes via email. Up to three in-studio rehearsal conflicts may be noted in your registration form and will be accomodated.
In-Studio Rehearsal Schedule
Tuesdays, 6:30–7:00 PM: November 3, November 10, November 17
Sundays, 2:30–3:30 PM: November 22, December 6 and December 13
Theatre Rehearsal Schedule
Lady Dragonflies may not be called for all of the times listed below, but please keep these dates available. Final Theater Rehearsal Schedules for each Lady Dragonfly will be released closer to November 1. All rehearsals listed below will be at the California Theatre. If you have a conflict for up to two of these dates please note them on your registration form.
Tech/Dress rehearsal: Wednesday December 16th, Thursday, December 17th, 7:00-9:00pm (please keep these days open if possible and we will let you know when you are scheduled to attend).
Dress rehearsal: Friday, December 18th, 7:00-9:00 pm (please keep this date and time open and we will let you know if you are called to this rehearsal. Only one group will be called to this rehearsal)
Performance Schedule
Lord and Lady Dragonflies are in the following performances. You will be cast in at least two performances. Please indicate in your registration form the maximum number of performances you are willing to perform, and any performance conflicts. Performance dates for Lord and Lady Dragonflies will be released by November 1st. Please note that the times listed below are performer drop off and pick up times, not the actual show times.

Pay The Participation Fee By September 21
Once you have registered there is a link in the form to pay the participation fee. You also may pay your Participation Fee here if you accidentally exit out of the window. The Participation Fee for Adult Students is $250. The Participation Fee covers the cost of rehearsal staff, backstage theater staff, and costume creation/maintenance. Performance tickets are not included and must be purchased through the Box Office.
