2025 Preliminary Casting
Lady Dragonfly
Congratulations on being cast in the role of Lady Dragonfly! Ladies Dragonflies will appear at the top of the second act and re appear at the very end of the ballet, and do not appear in the 11:00am performances. The role will include basic stage movement and ballet mime. Please note: all schedules are subject to change. You will be notified of these changes via email. Up to three in-studio rehearsal conflicts may be noted in your registration form and will be accomodated. The plan is that Two Ladies Dragonfly will appear in each performance, with the Lady Dragonfly 2 performances being split between two dancers. Please email school@newballet.com if you have any issues with the schedule as listed below.

In-Studio Rehearsal Schedule
Tuesdays, 6:30-7:00pm: November 4, November 11, November 18 (No Ann Edwards Nov. 11 and Nov. 18)
Sundays, 2:30-3:30pm: November 22 and December 7
Theatre Rehearsal Schedule
Lord and Lady Dragonflies may not be called for all of the times listed below, but please keep these dates available. Final Theater Rehearsal Schedules for each Lord and Lady Dragonfly will be released closer to November 2. All rehearsals listed below will be at the California Theatre. If you have a conflict for up to two of these dates please note them on your registration form.
Tech/Dress rehearsal: Thursday, December 11th, 5:00-6:00pm (all performers).
Dress rehearsal: Friday, December 12th, 7:00-9:00 pm Renu Cherian and Ann Edwards.
Performance Schedule
Lord and Lady Dragonflies are in the following performances. You will be cast in at least two performances. Please indicate in your registration form the maximum number of performances you are willing to perform, and any performance conflicts. Performance dates for Lord and Lady Dragonflies will be released by November 2nd. Please note that the times listed below are performer drop off and pick up times, not the actual show times.
