Advanced Roles

Congratulations on being cast as a Spanish Courtiers, Swans, and/or Swan Understudy. Please note: all schedules are subject to change. Families will be notified of these changes via email. Student guests will be cast as rehearsed in Company Rehearsals.

Along with roles rehearsed during weekly rehearsals with the company, Student Guests, Studio Company Apprentices, Studio Company and and Company dancers may be cast to learn roles in all scenes listed below and should keep all of these rehearsal days and times open. Who is an understudy and who is performing will be determined during rehearsals and posted by April 8.

We are pleased to announce that Saturday night’s performance will be an LGBTQ+ performance, a night where our family and friends from the LGBTQ+ community will celebrate the magic of “Swan Lake” with us in the audience. Dancers’ performances and experiences backstage will be identical to other performances, as will the experience provided to the audience. This show will be promoted in partnership with Silicon Valley Pride.

Support Swan Lake

Bringing professional ballet to life is more expensive every year, and we rely on generous donors like you to ensure that all of our students—including those receiving financial aid—have the chance to shine on stage. Your support helps us continue offering exceptional performances while making ballet accessible to everyone in our community.

Donate $500 by May 1, and you’ll receive an exclusive invitation for two to the dress rehearsal of Swan Lake at the Hammer Theatre, complete with a pre-performance reception. This special evening also welcomes local families affected by sensory and learning disorders, as well as those who might not otherwise have the chance to experience the magic of ballet.
