2024 Nutcracker Registration
Primary A, B, C and
Primary Boys 1

Primary students in Levels Primary A, B and C, and Primary Boys 1 are eligible to perform the roles of Dewdrops and Frogs. Dewdrops and Frogs appear for a brief appearance at the top of the second act and do not appear in the 11:00am performance. Please note: all schedules are subject to change. Families will be notified of these changes via email. You will be prompted to pick your preference for dewdrop or frog on the registration form. Preferences will be accommodated on a first come first serve basis.


In-Studio Rehearsal Schedule

Saturdays 11:15am-12:00pm, November 9th, 16th, and 23rd, and December 7th


Theatre Rehearsal Schedule

Students may or may not be called for all of the times listed below, but they must keep these dates available. Final Theater Rehearsal Schedules for each student will be released closer to Theatre Week.  All rehearsals listed below will be at the California Theatre.

Tech/Dress rehearsal: Thursday, December 12th, 5:00-6:30pm

Dress rehearsal: Friday,  December 13th, 6:50-9:00 pm (you must keep this date and time open and we will let you know if you are called to this rehearsal. Only one group will be called to this rehearsal)


Performance Schedule: MANDATORY AVAILABILITY

Dewdrops and Frogs are in the following performances. We intend to cast students in at least one and up to three of these performances. Performance dates for each student will be released by November 1st. Please note that the times listed below are performer drop off and pick up times, not the actual show times.

Sunday, December 15th: 1:50-4:00 pm
Friday, December 20th: 6:50-9:00 pm

Pay The Participation Fee By September 13

Once you have registered there is a link in the form to pay the participation fee. You also may pay your Participation Fee here if you accidentally exit out of the window. The Participation Fee for Primary Division Students is $100 (this is waived for Continuing Scholarship Students or students on Financial Aid who are notified it is waived). The Participation Fee covers the cost of rehearsal staff, backstage theater staff, and costume creation/maintenance. Performance tickets must be purchased through the Box Office.
