2026 Nutcracker Registration
Primary A, B, C, Primary Flex Girls, Japantown 11am class and
Primary Boys
Primary students in Levels Primary A, B and C, Primary Flex Girls, Japantown 11am class, and Primary Boys 1 students are eligible to perform the roles of Dewdrops and Frogs. Primary C girls are also eligible to be cast as Lead Dewdrop Fairies. Primary C girls must register and attend the first rehearsal where the Lead Dewdrop Fairies will be selected in order to be cast as a Lead Dewdrop Fairy. Dewdrops and Frogs appear for a brief appearance at the top of the second act and do not appear in the 11:00am performances. Please note: all schedules are subject to change. Families will be notified of these changes via email. You will be prompted to pick your preference for dewdrop or frog on the registration form. Preferences will be accommodated on a first come first serve basis.
This year, our Nutcracker performances run from December 19-December 27. Due to the extended Nutcracker Season and because we know families often make plans during this period, we will not officially limit conflicts for dates of December 26 and 27. Please let us know your conflicts for all dates when you register, and please prioritize performances as you can.
In-Studio Rehearsal Schedule
Saturdays 11:15am-12:00pm, November 7th, 14th, 15th, 21th, December 5th, 12th
Theatre Rehearsal Schedule
Students may or may not be called for all of the times listed below, but they must keep these dates available. Final Theater Rehearsal Schedules for each student will be released closer to Theatre Week. All rehearsals listed below will be at the California Theatre.
Tech/Dress rehearsal: Thursday, December 17th, 5:00-6:30pm
Dress rehearsal: Friday, December 18th, 6:50-9:00 pm (you must keep this date and time open and we will let you know if you are called to this rehearsal. Only one group will be called to this rehearsal)
Performance Schedule: MANDATORY AVAILABILITY Through Dec 23
Dewdrops and Frogs are in the following performances. We intend to cast students in at least one and up to three of these performances. Performance dates for each student will be released by November 1st. Please note that the times listed below are performer drop off and pick up times, not the actual show times. We are not limiting conflicts after December 23, but please prioritize performing if at all possible and list all conflicts on your registration form.

Pay The Participation Fee By September 14
Once you have registered there is a link in the form to pay the participation fee. You also may pay your Participation Fee here if you accidentally exit out of the window. The Participation Fee for Primary Division Students is $110 (this is waived for Continuing Scholarship Students or students on Financial Aid who are notified it is waived). The Participation Fee covers the cost of rehearsal staff, backstage theater staff, and costume creation/maintenance. Performance tickets must be purchased through the Box Office.
