Advanced Roles

Congratulations on being cast in an Advanced Role in Dalia Rawson’s “Cinderella.” Please note: all schedules are subject to change. Families will be notified of these changes via email.

Female students performing advanced roles should wear their regular uniform to rehearsals, with pointe shoes. On Saturdays and Sundays Advanced role students may wear free dress leotards and tights to rehearsals.

Female Advanced Role students will wear flesh colored pointe shoes and flesh colored tights for performances and should purchase a tan liner leotard to wear under their costume in the theatre. Available for purchase HERE. The female tailor assistant role will wear pink tights and tan character shoes for performances. Male performers will wear black tights and black shoes unless otherwise notified.

ALL CASTING IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Who will perform a role and who is understudying a role will be decided as rehearsals progress. Your preliminary casting reflects what roles you are cast to learn. Performance casting will be announced on April 15.

Theatre Rehearsal Schedule - Mandatory Availability

Students may or may not be called for all of the times listed, but must keep ALL of these dates available. Final Theater call times will be released with performance casting on April 15.  All rehearsals listed below will be at the Hammer Theatre. These drop off and pick up times may shift as production needs become more clear.

Tech/Dress rehearsal: Wednesday May 15, 4:00-9:15 (all casts - student may arrive at 4:30 and self warm up if their academic school schedule arriving in time for warm up)
Tech/Dress rehearsal: Thursday May 16, 4:00-9:15 (all casts - student may arrive at 4:30 and self warm up if their academic schedule precludes arriving in time for warm up)
Dress rehearsal: Friday May 17, 4:30-9:15 (all casts)

Performance Casting will be announced on April 15. Please note that the times listed below are performer drop off and pick up times, not the actual show times. Theatre information with more details will be distributed with Performance Casting on April 15.

We are pleased to announce that Saturday night’s performance will be an LGBTQ+ performance, a night where our family and friends from the LGBTQ+ community will celebrate the magic of “Cinderella” with us in the audience. Dancers’ performances and experiences backstage will be identical to other performances, as will the experience provided to the audience. This show will be promoted in partnership with Silicon Valley Pride.
