Level 6 and Company

Students in Levels 6 and Company dancers will be cast as Wilis, Peasant Corps, and other advanced roles. Please note: all schedules are subject to change. Families will be notified of these changes via email.

Along with roles rehearsed during weekly rehearsals with the company, Studio Company Apprentices, Studio Company, and and Company dancers may be cast to learn roles in all scenes listed below and should keep all of these rehearsal days and times open. STUDENTS WHO OPT FOR MINIMAL CASTING WILL NOT BE CALLED FOR SUNDAY REHEARSALS AND WILL BE PERMITTED TO HAVE CONFLICTS IN THE THEATRE. PLEASE BE SURE TO INDICATE ON YOUR REGISTRATION FORM IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MINIMAL CASTING. Minimal casting students will not be cast to learn or understudy wilis and will be released at 2pm on Saturdays.

Preliminary Casting (which roles students are registered to learn) will be posted on February 23. Performance Casting will be annoucned on April 3.

Advanced Roles


Tuesdays 6:00 - 7:00pm: during regular class time through the performance. Those students who choose not to perform will participate as understudies. February 24, March 3, March 10, March 24, March 31, April 14
Tuesdays warm up and full run 4:30-7:00pm: April 21, April 28, and May 5
Thursdays warm up and full run 4:30-7:00pm: April 23, April 30, May 7
Saturdays 12:30 - 4:00pm: February 28, March 14, April 4, April 18, April 25, May 2, May 9 (minimal casting released at 2pm)
Sundays (12 - 12:45 warm up) 1:00 - 3:30 Level 5 as cast): April 19, April 26 - not required for minimal casting


Theatre Rehearsal Schedule - Mandatory Availability

Students must be available for ALL of these dates unless they register for minimum commitment participation. Students who register for minimum casting may have up to 3 conflicts for performances and rehearsals in the theatre, and only will need to be at the theatre when their cast is on the floor. All other performers must be at the theatre for all performances and rehearsals. Final Theater call times will be released with performance casting on April 3.  All rehearsals listed below will be at the Hammer Theatre. These drop off and pick up times may shift as production needs become more clear.

Tech/Dress rehearsal: Wednesday May 13, 4:00-9:15 (all casts - student may arrive at 4:30 and self warm up if their academic school schedule arriving in time for warm up)
Tech/Dress rehearsal: Thursday May 14, 4:00-9:15 (all casts - student may arrive at 4:30 and self warm up if their academic schedule precludes arriving in time for warm up)
Dress rehearsal: Friday May 15, 4:30-9:15 (all casts)


Performance Schedule: MANDATORY AVAILABILITY

Performance Casting will be announced April 8, and students may be cast in all performances. Please note that the times listed below are performer drop off and pick up times including a warm up class, not the actual show times. Theatre information with more details will be distributed with Performance Casting on April 3. Students who register for minimal casting need only come to the performances they are cast to dance in and we accommodate up to three conflicts cumulative for theatre rehearsals and performances for students who register for minimum commitment. All other performers must attend all theatre rehearsals and performances.

Pay The Participation Fee By February 16

Once you have registered, you may pay your Participation Fee here. The Participation Fee for Level 6 is $250 (this is waived for Outreach Continuing Scholarship Students or students on Financial Aid who are notified that it is waived -these students do not need to take any extra steps or pay the fee). The Participation Fee covers the cost of rehearsal staff, backstage theater staff, and costume creation/maintenance. Performance tickets must be purchased through the Box Office.
