THEATER INFORMATION
All rehearsals and performances take place at the Hammer Theatre Center.
All listed rehearsals and performances are mandatory for participation.
No classes in the studio will take place May 12-17.
Performance Casting
REPORTING ABSENCES
To report any absences in the theater due to last minute emergencies please text COMING SOON and include your students name and role in the show (for theatre absences only, not for general school).
PLEASE NOTE - EVERYONE must leave by the stage door. You may not enter through any other door into the lobby after performing, and you may never enter the lobby in costume unless you are cast to do so at an event.
HAIR, MAKEUP, AND COSTUMES
All participants should arrive at the theater in full hair and makeup for all rehearsals and performances.
Little Peasant Children
Girls: High bun, lipstick (pink or light red that matches skin tone) Arrive in a white leotard, with appropriate tights and clean, tidy shoes. No nail polish, no glittery makeup, no holes in tights.
Boys: Neat hair, underdressed in their uniform, bring black ballet slippers to be worn on stage.
Peasant Children
Girls: High bun, foundation, mascara, lipstick (pink or light red that matches skin tone). Arrive in a full uniform, with appropriate tights and clean, tidy shoes. No nail polish, no glittery makeup, no holes in tights.
Boys: Neat hair, underdressed in their uniform, bring black ballet slippers to be worn on stage.
Peasants, Hunting Party
Middle Bun, hair parted, foundation, mascara, lipstick (pink or light red that matches skin tone) for girls. Arrive in a tan liner leotard, with appropriate tights and clean, tidy shoes. No nail polish, no glittery makeup, no holes in tights. Pink tights and pink ballet slippers.
Boys: Neat hair, underdressed in their uniform, bring black ballet slippers to be worn on stage.
Advanced Roles
All dancers on pointe should wear flesh colored tights and flesh colored pointe shoes and should bring a liner leotard to wear if needed. Boys please bring shoes and tights as specified for your role. Women’s hair is in a low bun with a middle part.
